Par for the Classic: Competitors suffered, endured and conquered - Outdoors - Fairbanks Daily News-Miner

Many of you know my longtime friend Brad Marden; he may be 5'10 and 170lbs but the guy is an animal.  He currently owns and operates a successful Salmon boat out of Homer, AK and when he is feeling frisky he crushes the competition in 100 mile adventure races through the snow covered backcountry of Alaska.  A big win for a great guy.

Wow.

"Likewise, Marden and Mumm were forced to spend a night in a snow cave on Whiskey Glacier to escape the wind because they chose not to carry a tent in order to travel lighter and faster but it wasn’t a big deal, Marden said."
