
Drove over to Idaho to the Canyon of the South Fork the other day. Snowfall rates were pushing an inch an hour for most of the day with temps in 20's. Even in that mess, big mayflies were popping up all over the place and attempting to dry out and fly away. Between the barage of snowflakes and sipping browns, it was a tough day to be a bug.
I have a deep seated respect for you steelhead nutjobs. Seriously, I think it might be time for some ice fishing.
