Snake River Update

Air temp: 38
Water temp: 38
Skies: overcast
Fluff chucked: #20 black zebra midge

With these conditions, twas a perfect day for the most noblest of pursuits; chasin some hot cutty on midge action. There was definitely no shortage of bugs yesterday but only one interested party- a fine snake river cutty hanging in the back of a lazy, winding, deep pool at the edge of some riprap. In a few more weeks these fish should start moving up into prime feeding lies and gorging on these midge hatches.
