We were out by 8 am on Sunday in some super heavy fog. By 9:30, the quarter mile visibility gave way to cloudless skies and the clearest, turquoise water I had seen in a while. We decided not to chum and just chunk to target the tuna. Not much for fish that day, just great company, sun, and plenty of frosty beverages. Early in the afternoon we did have some action. A lone blue first made an appearance with a slow, zig-zag pass clearly visible 50 feet beneath the stern. A few seconds later the shark was swirling at the surface picking out herring chunks. By this time I was scrambling to find the underwater camera and managed to get in a few good shots before one of our live baits started running out. 10 minutes later it was successfully released and the filming of Sharkporn was complete.

the music and the slow moving shark make this video seem like some sort of underwater sexual experience.....

Indeed it was. Im dubbing around with the video editor when this beat came up randomly on an itunes shuffle. I just couldn't resist.
