royal wulff, green humpty, thornberg, gold ribbed hares ear nymph, pheasant tail nymph, white wulff, a parachute adams, and an adams with an unusally thick body.

I doubt these are all correct, but I'm working off memory from trout fishing 20 years ago when I lived in Califronia and use to fish with my pops in oregon and washington state.

Green humpy, parachute adams (standard adams too), pheasant tail, bh hare's ear, goddard caddis, royal wulff, turck's tarantula (variant), clark's deer hair cicada, black AP nymph and a few other random ones that I can't quite make out...one's a generic chocolate foam emerger, the might be a yellow stimulator...

nick, i have indeed fished that river. i caught one fish on it.

brian, well done! you've correctly named exactly 8 of the flies on my fly patch. if you like, shoot me an email with your address and i'll fire you off a selection of kiwi flies when i get back to the lower 48.

keith, i'll give you a handshake anyway if you like.

well Robbins, this was tough for me, because you know I only tie on one fly... If they aren't eating the San Juan Worm, it's because they aren't there...
