FliesandFins.com has teamed up with NYC's own Urban Angler and The Angling Post to take the northeast salt by storm on September 19th 2009 by throwing a huge party on Montauk.
I was speaking with Jeremy Cameron of Flies and Fins a couple weeks back as we were both headed on two separate fishing pilgrimages. As we discussed the ups and downs of our summer fishing we bitched about work and began talking about how stoked we were for the fall to kick into high gear. It was around this time when Jeremy chimed in, "Dude, you've got to get your crew down to Montauk for this party that we're going to throw. All sorts of NE salt anglers conveening in Montauk for an epic rager on the 19th of September with a ton of fishing in the mix and an epic cast of characters." Immediately we discussed a promo post on Solid Hookups, and my brain starting devouring mental shots of reel screaming albie and bone battles, with maybe a few 40" Stripers in the mix......sound good to anyone else?
Lets get a plan rolling for this and show these NE salt anglers what the BFC is all about. Tons of prizes ranging from Reels, to tackle, and even charter trip giveaways.
