When it rains it pours...

In this case its pouring fish, and life couldn't be better. Long diatribes about phenomenal days on Maine waters are not necessary for this post. I landed the largest Brook Trout of my life today. Measured 20.5" (with an actual tape measure) and weight estimates are yours for the guessing.... quite simply, this fish was a pig. What an epic end to August! (Check out the YouTube release video below)

FUCK YEA. tired of catching 14" brookies? they're pretty boring anyway. cutting your fingers off turned out to be the best thing to happen to you all summer; maybe we should all cut a few of our shits off. any other fish caught?

by the way, no chance that was bigger than my carpenter pond pig.

I put down my rod for a week and y'all go off and nail 50 fish in a day then a few days later a 4 pounder shows up. That's the last time I do that. Sick video on the last post too Jesse. I'm stoked for the next few weeks.
